We are seeking more authors!

Can you write beautiful prose. Are you able to create flowing coherent sentences. Can you make reading fun for people who don’t like reading? If so, then we need both you and your talents!

We are on the look out for new talent to add to our ever growing list of contributing authors. It does not matter if you are influential and well known or obscure. Young or old. If you can write reasonably well then we we will happily give you a try.

We will be looking for everything from short blurbs about local events, first hand accounts, reviews, opinion, politics,  all the way to major news stories. You are welcome to write about anything which interests you however we are first and foremost aiming for local coverage.

Are you a professional or own your own business? You can promote it by writing helpful and informative articles on subjects with which you have special expertise. While authors are not allowed to directly advertise through the site without administrator permission, you are free to mention your business or services in the about yourself box in your profile, this appears after every post that you write. You can even provide a link to your company web site.

Want to contribute but not sure what you would write about? It’s simple, write about what you know and enjoy. This site will be the best by not simply duplicating local newspapers, other web sites, or media outlets. We will be unique.

• If you are a high school or college student you might write about your school.
• If you are into sports then perhaps that is the topic for you to take into hand.
• Know auto repair, start a car talk column.
• Love to cook, post recipes

The list is really endless. Through the topics option at the top of the page, people can chose to display subjects that interest them the most.
