‘We the People’ is currently occupying The Icehouse Cafe at 118 University Ave. Please stop in during their summertime hours of 11AM-3PM Mon-Sat to view the exhibit which includes social and political art from fourteen regional artists! While the show has no specific political agenda, it is an open forum in which the artists are free to express themselves.
The opening reception for ‘We the People’ was held at on Thursday evening, July 6th. Chris Lugo, Green Party candidate for Senate (see more at http://www.chris4senate.com/), was on hand to speak to the audience. Of his many motivations for running, Chris’s main objective, as he told the audience, was ‘to run for peace.’ A voter registration drive was also held at the event.
