Last Saturday’s “Walk the District” was a huge success. Thank you to all who participated. I really appreciate the overwhelming amount of support from all of you. Your encouragement keeps me going.
This Saturday, July 22nd, will be “Walk the District II”. Please join me for another day of canvassing. We will meet at the Super Giant Dairy Freeze, 1042 S. Riverside Drive, at 10:30 AM, return there for a free lunch at 12:30 and continue canvassing until 3 PM. If you miss us at 10:30, please come at 12:30 for the afternoon walk.
I will have clipboards with lists of registered voters organized by street. Volunteers will go out in teams to hand out information on my candidacy, place yard signs and remind people to vote. It will be a hot and humid day, please dress accordingly.
Let’s “Walk the District” together.
YES, there are still a few yard signs still available. Please help me place them throughout District 5. Let me know if you need one or know someone who does and I will deliver a sign to you.
Volunteers are needed to help with putting together a mailer. Please let me know if you are available next week.
I will attend the Lone Oak Picnic Saturday, July 29th. It is an “old style political picnic with singing, BBQ, drinks, games for the kids and political speeches”. Admission is free. Please join me and show your support. Political speeches begin around noon. It is at the Lone Oak Picnic Grounds in Cunningham.
You can still make needed campaign contributions on-line through PayPal at http://greggschlanger.com/contribute.html. Or you can make checks out and mail them to: Schlanger Campaign Fund
, 710 Perkins Ave., Clarksville, TN 37040.
E-mail or call me if you have any questions or ideas about how to improve Montgomery County. I look forward to “Walking the District” with you. Please forward this message on to others you think might be interested.
Early voting runs through July 29th. Election Day is August 3rd. YOUR SUPPORT AND VOTE WILL BE MUCH APPRECIATED.
Thank you for your support. Together, we can make a difference.
