The National Geographic Society Offers Many Outstanding Podcasts

I grew up with National Geographic Magazine. It was an escape, from the mundane reality of my childhood, a monthly trip to a world of the fantastic adventures and exotic locales.

I was browsing the itunes music store today when I stumbled across the fact that The National Geographic Society now offers podcasts. I have listened to a few and found that they meet the National Geographic Society’s very high standards.

These short audio and video programs are educational and very entertaining , for young and old. They expose you to the various cultures from around the world. The best part is, all of them are available, free of charge!
