Disney/ABC Trying to Distort History with Partisan Docudrama, The Path to 9/11

By Bill Larson | September 6, 2006 | Print This Post

DisneyJosef GoebbelsTaking a tactic from Goebbels, Disney is distorting history with their version of Goebbels big lie. For those who are not well versed on history, Josef Goebbels was Adolf Hitler’s Propaganda Minister. Goebbels technique argumentum ad nauseam, was a policy of repeating a point until it becomes generally accepted as a truth.

Path to 9/11, a largely fictional account which is being portrayed as a dramatized documentary(docudrama), is nothing more than an lame attempt by one of the largest corporations in the United States to sway public opinion and voters, in favor of a one political party, to the detriment of another, all to influence the outcome of an election. It’s a more ambitious attempt, to do what the so called “Swift boat Veterans for Truth”, and Sinclair Broadcasting, did to John Kerry in 2004.

Are we becoming a Theocracy, Religion and Politics part III

By Bill Larson | September 3, 2006 | Print This Post

Christian HypocritesOur country was founded by people looking for freedom, the freedom to worship their God in their way. It’s one of the things which makes our nation great. Some Evangelical and Charismatic Christians aided by politicians both Republican and Democrat, want to deprive us of that. We can not, no must not, stand by and allow that to happen. Some of these politicians are true believers, while others simply want to use Christians as a source of easy votes. «Read the rest of this article»

Can a person be gay and a Christian?

By David W. Shelton | September 3, 2006 | Print This Post

david-mug-small.jpgIt’s a question that is rarely asked out loud; a question to which most people assume they already know the answer; whether they’re Christian or not. But there are a great many people that have it in the back of their minds: “can a person be gay and a Christian?”

Naturally, the first impulse answer is a resounding, “no.” After all, we’re told such awful and horrible things about gay and lesbian people that there’s no possible way that such “abominations” could ever even be interested in worshipping the Lord Jesus Christ. What’s more, we’re told that homosexuals have hundreds of sex partners in their lives, and that’s all that runs their lives. Their sexual expression is allegedly their only expression. «Read the rest of this article»

Another view on Amendment 1

By Michael Covington | September 2, 2006 | Print This Post

Vote no on 1 TNThis is in response to a Same-sex marriages open Pandora’s Box in the opinion section of The Leaf Chronicle which appearing on Saturday 8/26/06 on the subject of Amendment 1 by Beth Sabel. Here is my response to her letter.

“I was truly saddened to hear of your post on how you feel that this will “open Pandora’s Box.”

To amend the wording to state “one person and one person” would not change any stipulations on how many persons, which family members, or which species could marry. It would simply change the gender of the two persons marrying. «Read the rest of this article»
