Despite all the negative comments posted on the Chronicle's chat thread, the facts speak of a different story. <ol> <li>Black faculty/staff numbers have reverted to prior Gier Settlement levels.</li> <li>The 'Grow Your Own" black professionals development program, established under Geier, has been abandoned. Past graduates of the program have been denied promotions and appointments for which the program prepared them.</li> <li>Hate crimes (religious and racial) have occurred on campus and not been reported to the required federal agencies IAW federal and state regulations.</li> </ol> All is not well at APSU.
