amy_ritchart.jpgOn Saturday June 23, 2007, starting 5:00 p.m., we will be having an Community Appreciation Dinner for Leaf-Chronicle Reporter, Amy Ritchart.

Amy will be leaving the Leaf-Chronicle to pursue other endeavors, so we will be throwing her an appreciation dinner at:

Sakura Japanese Steakhouse 1345 Fort Campbell Blvd Clarksville, (Next to Best Motors)

Saturday June 23, 2007, starting 5:00 p.m.,

Amy has been more than just a reporter to the community, her stories have moved and inspired us all, as well as helped us to truly gather true insight into what diverse writing and reporting is all about.

As a member of the African American Community, I can attest to the time and effort Amy has put into stories about our community so that her readers truly have a better understanding of our cause and struggle. If there ever was a person that expressed diversity in her writing, that person is Amy Ritchart. She will always be considered a good friend and her presence at the Leaf-Chronicle will be missed.

Those choosing to attend will be responsible for the cost of your own meals and drinks, only the honoree’s meal and drinks are being covered.

The cost of meals at this restaurant are about average for the local restaurants ranging in price from about $12.99 and up. There is also a sushi bar available and the food is great!

Please RSVP your attendance to this event. Thank You!
