Look at what it’s got going for it: An American President whom the public embraces and believes, alien terrorists invade earth, bent on our destruction, high level government deception and intrigue, world allies looking to the U.S. for leadership, romantic and personal devotion, commitment and sacrifice, family cohesion, romance, ethnic and religious diversity, ACTION, drama and humor. That’s a lot of wallop in a single punch! And the great thing about this movie is that you don’t have to plunk down $24.00 to get it. Really! It’s not a current summer blockbuster release. However it’s perfect for today, at an easy price in most video retail outlets. A good movie should not be limited by release dates. In truth, they’re not. So, get a copy and root for the good guys! Add this one to your DVD collection. “Go blast them bad aliens, Will!!!”

This is always a fun movie to watch. Never mind the fact that it has no depth, little semblance of character development, and its selling point is that the White House gets blow up by the big bad aliens.
I watch this movie sometimes when I do laundry. Randy Quaid’s performance almost steals the show from the delightful Wil Smith (Oh no, you did NOT shoot that green sh** at me!).
Keep it up!
