Montgomery County Democratic Party will join the “Walk the State Blue” movement as they host a meet-and-greet rally and voter registration Saturday, November 3, from 10 a.m. to noon at Veteran Plaza on Pageant Lane.
Walk the State Blue is a statewide Democratic initiative involving all Tennessee counties to “take back” their counties and turn the state of Tennessee “blue.”
The MCDP will offer information on the local party and issues that concern not just Democrats but all Americans. Voter registration will be available for all local citizens who need to register to vote in the Presidential preference on February 5, 2008.
Gene Lewis, MCDP chairman, said this is the first of several events to be sponsored by the party in the coming months. Refreshments will served.
