Daylight Saving Time ends Sunday

co-clock-back.jpgJust a reminder to all our readers: It’s time to turn those clocks back an hour. Daylight Saving Time ends Sunday, Nov. 4 at 2 a.m.

The semi-annual Autumn time change (spring forward, fall back) was moved back a week, leaving more daylight for trick-or-treaters and the rest of us with a bit more light at the end of the end for one extra week. We in the United States started daylight Saving Time two weeks, back in March.

But that’s about to end. With the shift back to Standard time, it will be darker earlier, and that in combination with the onset of the winter season makes for short dark days. While most computers will self-adjust for the time change, clocks, microwaves and just about anything that registers real time with have to be adjusted manually, and that is something you can do when you awake refreshed from your extra hour of sleep tonight.
