Good write-up!! Pastor Byrd was blatantly WRONG inhis actions. His claim of not whether Senator Obama is Muslim or not falls flat on its face on simple review. It's only been reported in the mainstream news for , over 15 months!!! It's a Baptist. Perhaps Pastor Byrd hasn't heard of them yet. Or, could it be he's unaware of Black Baptists?

Byrd got caught employing the same old GOP tactic of 2004-06. Race-baiting transferred onto religious affiliation. It's shameful that the Republican Party brought into such 'dirty tricks' but now they will themselves tarred by the same brush they gleefully sought to plaster Democrats.Their legions of independent political action groups are proving difficult to control. Wonder has the good pastor ever met or been in association with the wonderkind Karl Rove, the mastermind of this 2004 slime??

If he "didn't know" whether Senator Obama "was Muslim or not," why put up such a libelous sign? That shows a definite weakness in rational thinking on his part. It would lead me to question his suitable to lead the congregation in its theological pursuits. Just what did he want the congregation to ponder? Religious fanaticism or actual familial connections? The answer is obvious on its face. Smear by any other name is the still the same, pastor!
