Clarksville Fox moves to Championship Game

The Clarksville Fox, Clarksville’s women’s full contact semi-pro football team, will host a fundraising day of golf at Swan Lake Golf Course on Saturday, July 19.

The team defeated the New England Intensity 32-0 in the IWFL Tier Two Conference Wildcard Game. The Fox had a great offensive game accompanied with a defense that was “Off the Chain” only allowing 12 total yards of offense by the Intensity WOW. The Fox will work hard during the break before traveling to Chicago to play in the IWFL Tier Two Championship Game July 26th at 3:00 PM.

The Clarksville Fox (The Youngest Women’s Full Contact Football Team to ever play in an IWFL championship game) will play the Montreal Blitz (The first team from outside the United States to play in a women’s full contact football championship game) for the title as Champions of the IWFL Tier Two.

The Fox are excited to know when they win the Championship and they raise the Championship Trophy in the air and they are asked

“What Are You Going To Do Now”? and they get to say “We Are Going to Dollywood”.

Come and play golf July 19th at Swan Lake Golf Course in Clarksville and help raise the money needed to get the Fox to their Championship Game July 26th.

The Fox depends on their fans and sponsors to finance their season being a semi-pro women’s full contact football team. The Fox want to bring the National Championship Title to the Great State of Tennessee and to their home town of Clarksville.

Show your support by playing in the tournament or send a donation in to the team.

State Representative Joe Pitts and Montgomery County Mayor Carolyn Bowers have both pledged to send in donations. For more information, call 931-648-8130 Home or e-mail CoachofTheFox@AOL.com
