CPD “Saturation patrols” yield results

 

The Clarksville Police Department’s saturation patrols (partially funded by the Governor’s Highway Safety Office) to detect DUI/Impaired drivers, November 7 and November 8, 2008 between 2200 hours and 0400 hours yielded the following results:

There were 108 vehicles stopped during the saturation patrols which yielded 119 charges, listed here.

  • 6 DUIs
  • 1 Implied Consent
  • 3 Reckless Driving
  • 40 Speeding
  • 19 Insurance Law
  • 5 Seat Belt
  • 9 Equipment Violations
  • 8 Driver License Violations
  • 4 Revoked/Suspended Driver Licenses
  • 1 Improper Turns
  • 10 Vehicle Registration
  • 8 Traffic Signal Violations
  • 2 Tint
  • 1 Curfew
  • 2 Warrants

The Clarksville Police Department will also have saturation patrols running November 14 and November 15 from 22:00 – 04:00 hours.
