 Donald Michael Richardson
Burglary suspect Donald Michael Richardson(B/M), 56, of 1222 Cedar Street, Clarksville, was “caught in the act” and charged with burglary; his bond is $10,000.
According to Clarksvile Police, at 2:24 a.m. today, officers Lockerman, Wilson, Bailey, Danault, and Scruggs responded to 8th Street Medical Center in reference to an alarm activation.
When the officers arrived on scene they discovered a rear window broken out and a bicycle against the side of the building. The window is approximately five feet off the ground and the bicycle was used as a ladder. The officers surrounded the building and were able to take Richardson into custody, without incident, when he exited the building.
Richardson had several sample packs of medication from inside the clinic on his person. During the course of the investigation, it was discovered Richardson had removed the electric meter and cut the cable and phone lines prior to entering the business. Burglary tools were discovered on his person and inside the building. The window along with numerous wooden cabinets were severely damaged.
Richardson has a local history which includes worthless checks, drug charges, theft and burglary charges.
