Caught in the act: Civilians nab suspect charged with burglary![]() Daniel Charles Hetzner Daniel Charles Hetzner (W/M), 28, of 2854 APT B. Cobalt Drive, Clarksville, was charged with two counts of burglary with Bond of $20,000. On February 5, at 11:15 p.m. officers responded to a call about a person being detained for breaking into a vehicle. Two citizens, Cory Bailor and another person who wished to remain anonymous, saw Hetzner removing property from inside of a 1994 Ford Explorer on Terminal Road. When they confronted Hetzner, he took off running. They chased Hetzner and caught him in an apartment complex on Cobalt Drive, holding him until Police arrived. After Police arrived and started their investigation, they discovered that aside from entering and taking items from the Ford Explorer, Hetzner had pills, a crack pipe, and a checkbook in his possession. The checkbook was not Hetzner’s. The owner of the checkbook was contacted and he said the checkbook had been taken out of his 1997 GMC Sonoma while it was parked on Main Street. The property was returned to the owners and Hetzner was charged with burglary of both vehicles. Daniel Charles Hetzner has a criminal history involving Burglary, Drugs, Traffic Violations and on Probation.
