Injuries reported in CTA bus accident

This car, involved in a collision with a CTA bus, was totaled.

BREAKING NEWS: On the last run of the evening, the Clarksville Transit Authority Route 2  bus which traverses Fort Campbell Boulevard serving North Clarksville, was involved in an accident on New Providence Boulevard near Discount Liquors and the New Providence Car Wash. The bus was rear-ended by a car just before 9 p.m., likely with injuries as the car was “destroyed”  in the crash.

Police and EMS paramedics evaluate passengers on CTA's Route 2 bus

EMS paramedics were treating victims at the scene, including passengers who were being evaluated and removed from the bus.  At least two people were reported as being injured, one the passengers being evaluated was a child in the company of his father.

Police are continuing to investigate this accident. Additional information was not available at this time. Clarksville Online will post an update on this story as information becomes available.
