(James Madison, Virginia Resolution 1798) It is nice to know that a Judge understands the rights of the citizens to criticize the government and those elected to said offices. The Order stated it nicely: "The constitutional protection of citizens must always play a part. Debate on public issues shall be uninhibited, wide open and generally do include, vehement, caustic and unpleasant attacks on the character and bias of government officials" If the citizens were not allowed to do so, then we would be no better than the old Soviet Union, China or any other dictatorial government. We would lose one of the every rights that this country was founded upon -- the right to be critical of government actions. If elected leaders do not understand this, then get out of the kitchen.
