The Austin Peay State University Department of Languages and Literature and Zone 3 will present the Spring 2009 edition of the Red Mud Review publication.
The spring edition will be available the first week of May. The magazine is free to students and the public.
“The Red Mud Review is a student publication,” said Erin McAteer, editor-in-chief of the magazine. “Undergraduate and graduate students are the main components for the magazine which can include poetry to fiction, paintings to photography.”
Thirty students submitted work to be published, and 25 were selected to print. McAteer said this issue “is mainly text based poetry, fiction and nonfiction.”
Only students who receive full or half creative writing scholarships can serve as editor of the publication.
This year’s assistant editors are Will Sinclair and Joe Wojtkiewicz.
