I do not know this young man or his mother so I will not comment on him or her views. I will talk from my own experence. I servered in Special Operations units in the Army I went to both the Army And Navy SERE schools. SERE is volintary no one has to go. We are toldd not to talk about it not to hide anything from the public but to maintain the usefullness of the course. Haveing been Waterboraded it is not torture by any strech. It will get your atenteion to be sure. SERE is about 28 days long i lost almost 30lbs. I have a respect for anyone who was a POW, I new in the back of my mind I would be out in 28 days Also at any time a person can Drop on request if they think they cant take it any more.
