APSU Extended Ed offers classes; early registration discount on selected courses
Develop a new skill, explore a new idea, learn a new language or seek a new career with a class from Austin Peay State University’s Center for Extended and Distance Education. Register early and receive a 10 percent discount on selected courses. Preregistration is required for each course.
Computer software applications
- MS Excel 2007 will meet from 6-8 p.m., Wednesdays and Mondays, June 3-17 at 106 Public Square, Clarksville. (course $127, lab $5, supply $5)
- MS Office Skills Workshop-Moving from XP/2003 to 2007 will meet from 6-8:30 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays, June 9-18 at 106 Public Square, Clarksville. (course $127, lab $5, supply $5)
TSBDC
- Starting and Financing a Small Business will meet from 9 a.m.-noon, Tuesday, June 2 at US Bank, Clarksville. (free)
Parenting, health and safety
- Parents, Children and Divorce, the court-mandated seminar for divorcing parents, will meet in Montgomery County from 9 a.m.-1 p.m., Saturday, June 13 in APSU’s Claxton Building, Room 111. (course $35, text $15)
Motorcycle Safety
The center partners with Montgomery Rider Education Program in offering a motorcycle rider safety course. For more information or to register, contact the program director, Dee Gleason, at (931) 648-2208, between 9 a.m.-4 p.m., weekdays.
