The Clarksville-Montgomery County School System has made the decision to close Clarksville High School tomorrow and Friday because of the high student absenteeism rate. This afternoon’s completed attendance report confirmed that more than 25% of CHS students were absent from school today. CMCSS believes this will have an impact on the learning environment and hopes that giving students a few extra days to recuperate will provide them with an opportunity to get well and be ready for school on Monday.
