APSU hosting a symposium on “Emerging Security Threats in Southeast Asia” today

Austin Peay State University LogoThe Austin Peay State University Department of Public Management and Criminal Justice and the Institute for Global Security Studies will host a symposium, titled “Emerging Security Threats in South Asia,” Today. The symposium will be from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 10 at the Austin Peay Center @ Fort Campbell on Bastogne Avenue at Fort Campbell, Ky. It is the first in a four-part series, “Preventing the Next Afghanistan,” in which anticipated national security challenges and the means to a safe global future will be discussed.

The keynote speaker will be Lt. Gen. David P. Fridovich with the U.S. SOCOM Headquarters. Receptions before and after the symposium will be held.
