Clarksville Association of Realtors 3rd Annual F.U.E.L. Fundraiser Event

Nothing is more heartbreaking than to look in the face of a hungry child but hunger is a reality here in Clarksville and Montgomery County. On May 8, 2010, the Clarksville Association of REALTORS® will be hosting a fundraising event to help alleviate some of this tragic problem. CAR will again be partnering with the F.U.E.L. Ministry (Full of Emmaus Love) to provide food for our hungry school children.

“F.U.E.L. is a food subsidization program designed to feed children whose only food source may be the food they receive at school. All across America, children are going without food every weekend. This means that for up to 67 hours each weekend, school aged children are going without food. Most of these children are on state assistance; however, the food is not getting to the kids.

F.U.E.L. helps these children by gathering specific foods and placing them into grocery bags which are delivered to the schools and placed directly into the children’s back packs. These children are selected by
the schools, not based on their family income, but on the signs of hunger.”

How Can You Help?

  1. “Purchase” a booth at the event to sell merchandise of your choosing (crafts, food, books, etc.). Booth fees are
  2. only $20.00 and all proceeds will go directly to F.U.E.L. Each booth vendor will be provided with a table and chair.
  3. (Vendor application enclosed)
  4. Monetary donations to F.U.E.L. towards the total 2010 fundraising goal of $10,000.
