September Chamber of Commerce Events

The Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce announces upcoming events during the month of September.

Clarksville Area Chamber of CommerceFrom 5:00pm to 6:30pm, Thursday, September 2nd, Clarksville Young Professionals will be holding a Meet and Greet at the newly reopened Hooters at 750 N. Riverside Drive.  It will be a great opportunity to meet the new Chairman and learn about other networking events planned for the next year. The Chamber’s Business After Hours will be held on Thursday, September 16th from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. The event will be hosted by Legends Bank, 2120 Wilma Rudolph Blvd. This event is offered at no cost.

September 27th, the Chamber will host the Gateway Golf Invitational. Lunch will be provided along with 18 holes of golf at the Clarksville Country Club. An Industry Appreciation Steak Dinner will follow the tournament. The Chamber will recognize existing industries, as well as showcase the Clarksville-Montgomery County area to economic development partners from the state, TVA, and site consultants. This event is by invitation only.

On Thursday, September 30th, the Chamber Lunch and Learn Series will be held at the Economic Development Council Office, 25 Jefferson Street from 11:30am to 1:00pm. The topic of David Bullock’s lecture is “Are you a Hybrid Business”.  Bullock will speak on the opportunities that business leaders have if they can embrace new media and execution methods in this dynamic marketplace. With the increase of social media and digital marketing, the business world has a whole new platform to use in getting their message out. Informative and entertaining, he will bring his stories and lessons learned from working with other motivated leaders in the business community.
