Combined forces repel night attacks at base

Fort Campbell KY, 101st Airborne Division PatchKunar Province, Afghanistan – Insurgents attacked Combat Outpost Badel August 25th, at dusk with small arms, rocket-propelled grenades and mortars against the base in eastern Afghanistan’s Kunar Province.

Neither International Security Assistance Forces nor Afghan National Security Forces were injured during the assault.
