“Titans Code Blue” in Effect for September 12th Season Opener vs. Oakland

Fans Encouraged to Wear Titans Light Blue to Celebrate 2010 Season Opener

Tennessee TitansNashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans are calling on fans to participate in “Titans Code Blue” and wear Titans light blue to celebrate the regular season opener against the Oakland Raiders on Sunday, September 12th at LP Field.

Titans fans will show up in force to the franchise-record 117th consecutive sellout at LP Field as the Titans look to get off to a winning start to the 2010 season.

LP Building Products, Pinnacle Financial Partners and CMT will provide light blue T-shirts to all fans in attendance to watch the Titans open the regular season against Oakland.

Whether at work, at school or at the game, the Titans are encouraging everyone to take part and join in the excitment leading up to the 2010 season.

“Our fans have embraced this promotion at such a high level the last two years, we wanted to give them a similar opportunity during the 2010 season,” said Titans Executive Vice President Don MacLachlan. “In addition to the festivities on game day, we learned that many schools and workplaces across the Mid-South region adopted a Titans Code Blue dress policy and can envision similar occurrences on casual Friday or another day of their choosing this coming week.”

Titans Code Blue was unveiled for the first time for a Monday night game against the Colts in October of 2008. The Titans won the game by a final score of 31-21.

Fans can visit the Titans Pro Shop at LP Field, any area retailer, or click on the Titans Locker Room (free shipping on purchases of $50.00 or more) to check out a wide variety of Titans Code Blue gear.
