APSU to hold physical education program for home-schooled children

Austin Peay State UniversityClarksville, TN – Beginning in October, Austin Peay State University Department of Health and Human Performance will offer a six-week physical education program for home-schooled children.

Children ages 4-14 are invited to attend physical education classes taught by APSU students seeking health and physical education licensure. Children are divided into four age groups allowing four concurrent teaching stations.

Classes will be held from 1:00pm-1:45pm, Wednesdays, October 6th, 13th, 22nd and 27th and November 3rd and 10th.

Cost to participate in the program is $10.00 per child and $5.00 per sibling.

Registration for the classes will be at 1:00pm, Wednesday, October 6th in the Dunn Center, Room 282. Parents are encouraged to bring their children when registering. This also will be the first day of instruction.   

Children also may be registered Wednesday, October 13th, if parents are unable to attend the first-day registration.
