Civic Groups Partner for Mass Community Meet the Candidates Forum

Clarksville, TN – On Saturday, October 9th, 2010 at the G’s Pancake House Restaurant, located at 803 South Riverside Drive, Clarksville, TN. starting at 12 noon.

The Coffee Party of Clarksville, Tennessee in partnership with the Clarksville Branch of the NAACP, the Hispanic Organization for Progress & Education (HOPE), and the Korean American Association of Clarksville will host a “Meet the Candidates Forum.”

This forum will give the public the opportunity to hear the candidates’ views on some of the very important issues that are affecting our community. By listening to the candidate’s platform and agenda voters will be able to make an informed vote on Election Day!

The October 9th “Meet the Candidates Forum” will have candidates present for the following positions, (Governor of TN, U.S. Congress, TN State House, City of Clarksville Mayor, & Clarksville City Council).

Candidates from the Democratic Party, Republican Party, Green Party as well as Independent candidates for all elected positions have been invited.

This event is free & open to the public. We urge you to attend!
