First Thursday ArtWalk

Clarksville, TN – You’re invited to join the merchants of Historic Downtown Clarksville for The monthly Art Walk, on October 7th from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Kendall Welsh from ARTifacts sent us this information about October’s artistic extravaganza.

ARTifacts, Art & Antique EmporiumARTifacts Emporium will celebrate two artists this artwalk; Gail Meyer and Pamela Settle.  When asked about her art, Gail says, “Passion….Drama….Movement! I believe art should portray deep feelings and evoke the senses through a visual display of hues, shapes and design. Art is pure creation…the window of imagination, a portrait of life and my venue of personal expression.”

Our next featured vendor is Pamela Settle.  Pamela has many talents that she shares with the customers at ARTifacts.   Wooden bracelets, with intricate pencil drawings on them – each with an individual story to tell.  Fun crafted pins that have color and designs that are unique and whimsical.  And she makes pillow case dolls also.  Have a vintage pillow case that you want to keep, but are afraid to use?  Have Pam make it into a doll to treasure as an heirloom to be passed down for generations to come.
