However, it was the Lady Govs defense that held the fort down, topping the Eagles in digs (101-88) while pushing a tie in blocks (8-8). That effort held Morehead State to a .171 attack percentage, negating its 63-59 advantage in kills.

Morehead State (18-7, 11-1 OVC) has rebounded since losing to Austin Peay 11 days ago, winning each of its three matches – all on the road. The Eagles return to their home gym – where they are 6-1 this season – for the first time since October 9th.

Statistically, Austin Peay and Morehead State are well matched with the duo ranked among the league’s top three in five categories.
