Fort Campbell, KY – Approximately 10 Fort Campbell Soldiers are scheduled to return from Afghanistan Friday.
Soldiers from Company C, 7th Battalion, 101st Aviation Regiment, 159th Combat Aviation Brigade, “Eagle Dustoff,” will be welcomed in a ceremony at 8:15pm. The MEDEVAC Soldiers initially deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, but a portion of the unit was diverted to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom approximately halfway through their one-year deployment.
