Langat finished 49th in the 147-man event, finishing the 10-kilometer race with a time of 31:59.04. Sophomore Geofrey Kosgei finished 64th with a time of 32:26.39. Freshmen Tyler Kepley (134th, 35:03.04) and Genaro Martinez (147th, 37:23.02) also competed individually.

“Enock really ran a strong race from start to finish,” said cross country head coach Doug Molnar. “It was a tough course, the footing wasn’t very good. So for him that time on that type of course was an excellent effort. Kosgei ran a nice race and was right in the mix.”
