Richards led the Lady Govs effort with a time of 23:17.00, finishing 139th overall in the six-kilometer event. Junior Janelle Avery was 161st with a time of 23:59.71 and sophomore Alyssa Molnar completed the course with a time of 26:49.17, finishing 186th.

“Xiamar gave us an excellent effort today,” said cross country head coach Doug Molnar. “She broke our freshman mark in the six-kilometer distance. It was a tough course with the runners battling unsure footing. Given the conditions I thought our individuals ran a nice race.”
