Clarksville, TN – On November 17th, 2010, around 7:32pm, a pedestrian was hit by a motor vehicle while crossing the 1900 Block of Fort Campbell Blvd.
Two pedestrians, one male and one female, had crossed the northbound lanes of Fort Campbell Blvd, were standing in the center left turn lane, and waiting to cross the southbound lanes of Fort Campbell Blvd.

Fort Campbell KY, – Five 101st Airborne Division Soldiers died November 14th, while conducting operations in Watahpur district, Konar province, Afghanistan. The five Soldiers died of wounds sustained during a firefight with enemy forces in the area.
Killed were: Scott Thomas Nagorski, Jesse Adam Snow, Nathan Edward Lillard, Shane Hasan Ahmed, and Christian Michael Warriner.
Nashville, TN - Work continues to progress on the state’s second largest Recovery Act funded project on I-40 at White Bridge Road in west Nashville. Tonight and Thursday night, crews will close lanes on Interstate 40 in both directions in order to install temporary barrier rail in the work zone.

Clarksville, TN – Ilyana Hernandez, a junior on thevolleyball team, has been named the Copies in a Flash APSU Athlete of the Week.
The Torrance, CA., native was named the Ohio Valley Conference’s Offensive Player of the Week, Monday, after recording 28 kills and a .472 attack percentage in the Lady Govs two victories, last week. It was the second time this season she received the honor.
Hernandez went errorless in 27 attempts against Tennessee State, finishing with 15 kills and a .556 attack percentage.

Clarksville, TN – Gas and Water construction crews will be replacing leaking fire hydrants in North Clarksville on Thursday and Friday of this week. While the work is performed, water service will be disrupted on Lealand Drive from Fort Campbell Boulevard to Mossland Drive from 8:00am to 1:00pm on Thursday and on Charlemagne Boulevard from Lafayette Road to Lasalle Street from 8:00am to 12:00pm on Friday.
Area residents may experience low water pressure during the water outage. Both roads will be open to traffic.
Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans (5-4) play their first home game in nearly a month this week, as they host the Washington Redskins (4-5) at LP Field (capacity 69,143). Kickoff is scheduled for noon CST on Sunday, November 21st.
The Titans enter the game with a 12-game winning streak against teams from the NFC. The streak already is the longest in franchise history and the longest current streak in the NFL. Fort Campbell, KY – A Night Stalker crew member received the Cargo Helicopters Project Management Office 2010 Super Soldier Award.
Staff Sgt. Justin Smith, 2nd Battalion, 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment, received the award during the annual Chinook Users Conference in Huntsville, AL, this October.
Smith was nominated for his performance as a flight engineer instructor and a field first sergeant during combat, training and home station missions, according to his award nomination submitted by his company senior noncommissioned officer, 1st Sgt. Michael Telesco.
