Emmanuel Family Life Center hosts Scholarship Ball

Clarksville, TN – December 3rd, 2010 marked the 2nd Annual Billy Dubose Scholarship Ball hosted by the Emmanuel Family Life Center. The evening was filled with fun and fellowship. Many organizations and members of the community participated and supported the noteworthy cause of providing scholarships to our youth to aid them in their pursuit of higher learning. The goal was to provide 5 students with scholarships of $500 each. Through generous contributions from participants as well as Bennett’s Photography approximately $2,000 was raised toward the goal of  $2,500.

For those that were unable to attend and would still like to contribute please call Sis Edith Kidd at 931-647-4341. The deadline for students to apply for the scholarship is February 11, 2011.

The scholarships will be awarded at the 2nd Annual Stomp and Sound Off Crew Challenge March 12, 2011 at Kenwood High School. This event is sponsored by the LEAP ORG and will feature high school step teams and show bands competing for the crown.
