Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay concludes the non-conference portion of its schedule when it meets UAB in a 2:00pm, Sunday contest at Bartow Arena.
The Lady Govs will be less than 48 hours removed from a four-day stay in Pittsburgh, PA where they dropped contests to Pittsburgh, Tuesday, and Duquesne, Thursday. In its 62-50 loss at Duquesne, Austin Peay had a first half to forget and a second half they would like to repeat as the season progresses.
The Lady Govs allowed Duquesne to score 41 points in the first half while its own offense struggled, making just eight field goals. However, the second half saw APSU produce an impressive defensive effort, holding the Dukes to 19 field goal attempts (eight made) and grabbing a 24-13 rebounding edge.

New York, NY – Experian® Hitwise®, a part of Experian Marketing Services, has analyzed the top 1,000 search terms for 2010(1) and Facebook was the top-searched term overall. This is the second year that the social networking Website has been the top search term overall, accounting for 2.11 percent of all searches.(1) Four variations of the term “facebook” were among the top 10 terms and accounted for 3.48 percent of searches overall.
The term “facebook login” moved up from the 9th spot in 2009 to the second spot in 2010. YouTube was the third most-searched term in 2010, followed by craigslist, myspace and facebook.com. Ghazni Province, Afghanistan – The first Soldiers of 3rd Battalion, 187th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division, will be heading home soon after spending the last 11 months in eastern Afghanistan.
Task Force Iron held a ceremony to award the departing Soldiers with their end of tour awards. Five Bronze Stars and 21 Army Commendation Medals were awarded at the ceremony.
Soldiers who arrived early in Afghanistan, such as company executive officers and supply sergeants, are the first to redeploy home and set the conditions for the rest of the battalion.
