Clarksville Area Chamber of CommerceClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce announces upcoming events during the month of January.

The Chamber’s Business After Hours will be held on Thursday, January 20th from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. The event will be hosted by the Riverview Inn, 50 College Street. This event is offered at no cost.

On Tuesday, January 25th, a Power Breakfast will be held at the Riverview Inn starting at 7:30am The Breakfast will cover the topic of “Going Green in Clarksville-Montgomery County”. At a time when the nation is moving toward greener business practices, the City of Clarksville and Montgomery County leadership have shown their commitment by supporting a local Green Certification Program. Learn how to get a marketing edge, lower operating costs and sustain our community’s natural environment through the Green Certification Program.

The program’s steering committee members have invested resources to ensure the success of the program. The Committee is comprised of Bridgestone Plant Manager Donna Bright, Hemlock Semiconductor, L.L.C. Site Manager Terry Strange, Planters Bank Assistant VP Jarrod Duncan, Trane General Manager Todd Graf and Green Certification Program Manager Michelle Newell.

Also, please save the date for the Mayor’s Power Breakfast which will be held on February 1st at the Riverview Inn, starting at 7:30am.
