Colt to Assume Role as Deputy Commanding General

Fort Campbell, KY – The Department of the Army yesterday announced that Brig. Gen. Jeffrey N. Colt has been named as the Deputy Commanding General, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, KY.

Colt currently serves as Commander, Joint Unmanned Aircraft Systems Center of Excellence, Indian Springs Airfield, Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada. He will replace Maj. Gen. Frank Wiercinski, who has served as the DCG since November, 2010.

Colt has extensive prior assignments to Fort Campbell in the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment as well with the 101st and 159th Aviation Regiments.
