Clarksville, TN – This morning the FACT Team was called out to Heritage Point Circle Apartment Complex in the Exit 1 area off of Tiny Town Road. about 3:15am. A U-Haul had gotten stuck in the mud, while attempting to turn it around.
In the attempt to get the U-Haul free, it struck a dumpster and the dumpster struck a male subject. A metal bar on the dumpster broke free and impaled the man in the upper chest. The man was flown to Vanderbilt from the scene, and is in critical condition.
Officer Bill Van Beber is the lead investigator and it is still an active investigation. This is all the information available at this time.
