Clarksville, TN – The Weather Service is projecting the Cumberland River to reach 52.9 feet by Thursday. 46 feet is considered flood stage, but it must rise to 53 to 55 feet to reach Riverside Drive, but not flood it. 62.58 feet is considered a major flood.
The Red River is projected to crest at 48 feet on Thursday. Last year, it crested at 49.48 feet. TEMA issued a flood warning for the Red until Friday.
