Clarksville, TN – For more than two decades, the Community School of the Arts at Austin Peay State University has provided area adults and children with a means of expressing their creative energy through art and music classes.
That tradition continues this summer as the CSA gears up to hold a new session of arts programs for the Clarksville community from June 6th-July 15th.
The classes and programs for this session include:
- Individual, one-on-one, Music Lessons for cello, flute, guitar, percussion, piano, saxophone, trumpet, violin or voice.
- Suzuki Violin Lessons for ages 4 and older.
- Musical Theater for ages 8-12.
- APSU Piano Week.
- Kindermusik classes for ages 6-18 months, 18 months – 3 years and 3-5 years.
- Individual Art Instruction.
- Painting with Watercolors, ages 8-14.
- Ceramics, ages 15 and older.
- Advanced Ceramics.
- Digital Photography, ages 15 and older.
- Mixed Media Drawing and Painting, ages 15 and older.
- Bookmaking for children, ages 7-12.
- Posters, Zines and Graphic Novels, ages 11-16.
- The Well-crafted Book, ages 16 and older.
