Community School of the Arts Summer Session Begins June 6th

The Community School of the ArtsClarksville, TN – For more than two decades, the Community School of the Arts at Austin Peay State University has provided area adults and children with a means of expressing their creative energy through art and music classes.

That tradition continues this summer as the CSA gears up to hold a new session of arts programs for the Clarksville community from June 6th-July 15th.

The classes and programs for this session include:

  • Individual, one-on-one, Music Lessons for cello, flute, guitar, percussion, piano, saxophone, trumpet, violin or voice.
  • Suzuki Violin Lessons for ages 4 and older.
  • Musical Theater for ages 8-12.
  • APSU Piano Week.
  • Kindermusik classes for ages 6-18 months, 18 months – 3 years and 3-5 years.
  • Individual Art Instruction.
  • Painting with Watercolors, ages 8-14.
  • Ceramics, ages 15 and older.
  • Advanced Ceramics.
  • Digital Photography, ages 15 and older.
  • Mixed Media Drawing and Painting, ages 15 and older.
  • Bookmaking for children, ages 7-12.
  • Posters, Zines and Graphic Novels, ages 11-16.
  • The Well-crafted Book, ages 16 and older.
