USO Camp Erin/TAPS Grief Camps

Morale, Welfare and RecreationFort Campbell, KY – Camp Erin is a bereavement camp designed for children and teens ages 6-17 who are grieving the death of someone close to them. It is a weekend-long experience filled with traditional and fun camp activities combined with grief education and emotional support – facilitated by grief professionals and trained volunteers.

The Moyer Foundation partners with local hospices, grief counseling organizations, and experts nationwide who in turn serve as the hosts for Camp Erin in their specific communities. Through this powerful partnership between The Moyer Foundation’s Camp Erin, the USO and TAPS we are thrilled to offer Camp Erin/TAPS grief camps near some of the country’s largest military installations.

Camp Erin/TAPS locations recognize the courage and bravery of military Families while providing grief education, comfort and support to children and teens of our fallen military heroes. The new partnership will fund four new Camp Erin/TAPS grief camps in communities near America’s largest military installations and will be coming to Fort Campbell June 16th through 18th.

The Camp Erin/TAPS grief camps will be offered for FREE to children and teens. The weekend-long camp experience will be filled with traditional camp activities, combined with grief support.
