Transfer of Authority from CJTF-101 to CJTF-1 – 101st Airborne Division Colors Cased

Fort Campbell KY, 101st Airborne DivisionBagram Airfield, Afghanistan – On May 19th, 2011 the Transfer of Authority Ceremony from combined Joint Task Force-101 to Combined Joint Task Force-1 took place at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan.

General David H. Petraeus, Commander, U.S. Forces Afghanistan, was on hand for the ceremony and spoke with (outgoing) Major General John F. Campbell, Commander, Regional Command – East, as well as (incoming) Major General Daniel B. Allyn, Commander, Regional Command – East.

During the Combined Joint Task Force-101 to Combined Joint Task Force-1 Transfer of Authority ceremony, Maj. Gen. John F. Campbell and Command Sergeant Major Scott C. Schroeder cased the colors of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) for the return Fort Campbell, KY.

Major General John F. Campbell and Command Sgt. Maj. Scott C. Schroeder, commander and command sergeant major of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), will be welcomed home to Fort Campbell, KY, May 20th at 8:00am. You can listen to the Welcome Home Ceremony live, Friday morning, on WJZM.
