Liberty Park Remains Closed for Construction, Boat Ramp, Dock Accessible on Weekends Only

Clarksville Parks and RecreationClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Parks & Recreation Department has opened a new, four-lane boat ramp and two boat docks at Liberty Park for weekend use only.  The park area remains closed until its completion.

Because of continuing construction at the park, the ramps are only open from 7:00am to 8:00pm each Saturday and Sunday. Liberty Park Boat Ramp is closed to the public during weekdays. This is noted on a sign at the park entrance.

The ramps and boat docks were opened on weekends to allow for better access to the Cumberland River during the boating season.

Police will increase patrols at the park and people entering when it is closed are subject to being cited. If the problem persists, the City will be forced to completely close the park until all work is finished.
