Man in Custody After Committing Two Aggravated Assaults, Domestic Assault, and Two Arsons

Clarksville, TN – A man is in custody after a committing crimes in an all night series of  domestic-related events. Landon Guerin Porter, rammed a woman’s car twice, set two vehicles on fire and physically assaulted his ex-girlfriend.

On June 15th, around 9:00pm, Porter’s 20 year old, ex-girlfriend called Police to report that Porter came into her Baltimore Drive residence, took her car keys while she was asleep and then drove off with her 2003 Hyundai Sonata without her permission. After leaving the Baltimore Drive apartment, it is believed that Porter went to a Centennial Drive residence and intentionally set fire to a 1974 Chevrolet Caprice. The vehicle is owned by a previous roommate of Porter’s.

Porter believed that his former roommate and owner of the Caprice had been involved a relationship with his girlfriend. After the vehicle was set on fire, Porter called the 20 year old and left several voicemails alluding to the fact that he had set the vehicle on fire. The vehicle’s interior was completely burned.

On June 16th, a little after midnight, the 20 year called and reported her Hyundai had been returned. Around 12:30am, 911 received another call stating that after Porter was allowed into the residence, he had physically assaulted the 20 year old, with his fists. She had minor injuries, but refused medical attention. Porter fled from the scene in the girlfriend’s vehicle.

When Porter fled from the scene, the 19 year old female roommate followed him in a 2002 Pontiac Sunfire. She lost sight of Porter and was returning to the Baltimore Drive residence when he rammed her vehicle in the rear. The 19 year old quickly pulled into the apartment parking lot, exited the vehicle, at which time Porter rammed the vehicle again almost striking the 19 year old. She ran into the apartment and Porter started beating on the door, but, once again, left the scene in the stolen Hyundai.

After Porter left, the 20 year old received several voicemails telling her that her vehicle was on fire. He had taken the vehicle to the area of Swan Lake Sports Complex (Old Russellville Pike and Tom Dillard) and set it on fire. The vehicle was a total loss.  Porter somehow made his way back to Baltimore Drive, where Police take him into custody.
