Fort Campbell, KY – On June 23rd, 2011, at 9:30am, the 1st Battalion, 101st Aviation Regiment held a change of command ceremony to honor the outgoing battalion commander, Lt. Col. Scott Hasken, and the incoming battalion commander, Lt. Col. William Ryan.
During the ceremony, Lt. Col. Scott Hasken, 1st Battalion, 101st Aviation Regiment outgoing commander, conducted a final troop inspection.
Col. Bill Gayler, 101st Combat Aviation Brigade commander received the 1st Battalion Colors from Lt. Col. Scott Hasken, 1st Battalion, 101st Aviation Regiment outgoing commander and then passed them to the incoming commander Lt. Col. William Ryan to symbolize the passing of command.
