Clarksville, TN – After placing first in their respective events at the State Hershey Track and Field Competition on June 25th in Murfreesboro, two local competitors will be competing at the national level in Hershey, PA.
Melanie Stevens will be competing in the Girls 11-12 800-meter race and Bethany Rich will be competing in the Girls 13-14 standing long jump.
Stevens’ qualifying time for the 800-meter race was ’02:44.41. Rich’s qualifying distance for the standing long jump was 8 feet and 1.25 inches. The National Hershey Track & Field competition will take place August 4th-7th in Hershey, PA.
