Liberty Park closed over weekend for final paving

City of ClarksvilleClarksville, TN – Liberty Park will be closed Friday, August 26th, through Sunday, August 28th, to boat ramp users as crews complete final paving at the site.

Since August 10th, paving crews have been applying top coats of pavement on the park’s roads and parking areas.

Because machinery and workers must continue entering and exiting, the park’s main entrance cannot be barricaded. Notice of the closure will be posted at the entrance and Clarksville Police will assist to ensure that boaters do not enter during the weekend.

So far, only the four-lane boat ramps at the marina basin and adjacent parking lot have been open on weekends; other areas of the park remains closed because of ongoing construction. The ramps are expected to subsequently reopen on weekends, and any changes will be announced in advance.
