Police are Investigating an Aggravated Kidnapping and Attempted Aggravated Rape

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On August 28th, around 4:30am a male called Police to a Concord Drive address and told officers that his girlfriend had been kidnapped. He had received texts from his girlfriend telling him that she had been forced into a black SUV and was being held against her will.

The male continued to received texts for a couple of hours detailing her whereabouts and the events taking place. The 35 year old female finally called and said she was able to escape. She called Police and was located in the area of Elberta Drive and Orchard Road around 6:21am.

Detective Andy Hurst arrived and took over the investigation. The 35 year old female told Detective Hurst that she was allegedly kidnapped at gunpoint by a heavy white male with a grayish unshaven beard and a black male who had a knife and was approximately 6’0 and 180lbs. The suspects were in a black SUV which the victim, at first, thought was a Ford Explorer. She described the tail lights as having square lenses with round lights on the inside of them.

The suspects were first seen by the victim in the area of Orchard Road and Armistead Drive where they forced the victim into the vehicle by threatening to shoot her. She told Detective Hurst that she was driven around for a while and then the white male got out of the vehicle in the area of Blackberry Place and Cherry Tree Drive.

The black male allegedly opened the rear door of the SUV and attempted to take the victim’s pants off, but the victim was able to fight him off, escape, and call Police. She said that the black male should have a scratch or cut on his face.

The victim had some cuts, but was not seriously injured.
