Senior Boniface Yator looks to lead the way for the Governors and improve on a solid 29th-place finish from last week’s Belmont Opener. Sophomore Tyler Kepley looks in better shape for this week’s race after having a disappointing performance (88th, 18:18.30) in the season opener at Belmont.

“We will worry about ourselves and let the chips fall where they fall,” said Coach Molnar. “It always comes down to how hard can you push yourself. No one else can do it for you.”

Boniface Yator Although the Governors will only face one other Division I opponent (Alabama A&M) at this weekend’s race there is still a strong field to contend with. Regionally-ranked teams in the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Division II polls in the field are Alabama-Huntsville (2nd, South Region), West Florida (6th, South Region), and Christian Brothers (7th, South Region).
